The Hibachi Tabo Grill

Inspired by travelling around Japan, our Hibachi Tabo Grill is the ultimate in charcoal cooking, allowing the pure flavours of your food to shine.

Designed and built to last, a generational piece, this is a robust, super efficient, easy-to-clean grill.

We recommend using smoke-free Bichotan Charcoal, which is fired up in a chimney then laid into the ceramic bricks.  The quantity of charcoal, plus the adjustable vents at either end to control the heat, means you are cooking on the ultimate griller.

The Hibachi is lined with 25mm thick ceramic bricks which contain the heat and provide an even, radiated heat.  The stainless-steel grill can be removed if you are cooking with skewers.

Timber for the handles, feet and the vent control ensures that the grill can be handled safely and can be used on a table, although we recommend a stainless tray underneath to capture any cooking that may fall.

The external stainless steel surfaces do get very hot so care needs to be taken in handling and cooking with the Hibachi.

A timber dust pan and brush is provided to remove the ash the following day.
